Expertise and Experience
Justine was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales as a solicitor in February 1999 and has practised as a solicitor in Orange since that time. She is currently working primarily in Family Law and Local Court matters but has also worked extensively in workers compensation and disputed estates.
She also continues to regularly work in many other areas such as wills, estates, conveyancing, leasing, tenancy disputes, liquor applications, caveat issues, debt recovery, bankruptcy and insolvency. Her clients include a number of prominent local businesses as well as local families and individuals.
Education and Qualifications
Justine has a Bachelor of Arts and Diploma of Education from Sydney University. She has a Bachelor of Laws and Graduate Certificate in Legal Practice from the University of Technology Sydney where she was awarded the University Prize for Family Law. She regularly attends legal seminars across her key areas of law to keep abreast of changes and developments that can affect her clients.
Professional and Community Involvement
Justine has been an active member of the Central West Law Society and was the Secretary of that society for many years. Justine previously assisted the free legal advice clinic at the Orange Family and Community Centre and is currently a panel Solicitor on the Cancer Council Pro Bono Program.
She recently published an article in the Law Society Journal regarding a matter finalised by BS&N without charge to the clients in relation to an unjust ‘rent to buy’ contract. She is also a Legal Aid NSW Regional Outreach Clinic Program Solicitor.
Justine takes a realistic, proactive, and no-nonsense approach to legal disputes and her goal is to broker a timely, fair and reasonable solution to legal problems.
